I am Jacqueline , a passionate Plants Lady with 20 years experience in Professional Horticulture ; from Teaching to running my own Gardening Business , working on a wide variety of wonderful gardens including Planting Design and Maintenance plus , of course , Growing Vegetables and Cut Flowers !
I broke-ground with Haven Flowers in the Autumn of 2023 and am now working on my Cutting Business full-time. Prior to beginning Haven Flowers , I worked for five years with a lovely Grower helping to set-up her Cut Flower Business and managing the sowing and growing of her beautiful Flowers.
So now I can bring you beautiful British Flowers and Foliage, grown by me , as nature intended , seasonally and sustainably , here in our glorious county of Shropshire. I am blessed to be based at Havenhills Farm , between Bridgnorth and Shifnal , where Karen & Jonathan run their environmentally-friendly market garden and prepared food business ; Havenhills Field & Kitchen. Hence , my business name of Haven Flowers !
As you will see on my Monthly Focus and Gallery Pages , I grow a wide selection of Flowers and Foliage , reflecting my love and experience of garden-grown plants . My style is very much that of garden-gathered and bringing the outside in . I cut and create for retail and wholesale customers , including weekly bouquets , DIY weddings and Florist buckets. Last year , I also loved experimenting with dried-flowers , which were a great success and I look forward to bringing you more this year.
