The late Narcissi such as ‘Lieke’ join the early Tulips such as cream and green ‘Exotic Emperor’ in a glorious display , harmonised by buttery Wallflowers and white Honesty , with added pops of Geum.

This year I grew Narcissus ‘Peaches and Cream’ , who was very true to her word and was a lovely addition to Tulip bouquets , including ‘La Belle Epoque’ in the same peachy tones. Another lovely welcome Tulip is ‘Belicia’ in cream with pink picotee edging.

I also had a very welcome re-appearance from the very aptly named Tulip ‘Grand Perfection’ , in her stunning contrast of cream and cherry-red ! Again , she toned beautifully with ruby Wallflowers and tangy Geums. plus Tulip ‘Exotic Emperor’ and Narcissus ‘Lieke’.

Later in the month saw Tulips such as ‘Menton’ and ‘Dordogne’ and viridflora Tulips joining all of the beauties already mentioned , to truly create some stunning bouquets to bring much joy and smiles ; heartwarming British Spring Flowers .
